Because little miracles don’t happen on their own, let’s join forces. Together, for them.
Québec, May 25, 2023 – The Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon, the largest annual event to help sick children in Quebec, will take place on Sunday, June 4th. Broadcast live on TVA from Théâtre Capitole, the Telethon will show the importance of joining forces to make a difference for thousands of families across Quebec.
“The solidarity you show the children, their families and the healthcare teams, year after year, is crucial. Thanks to you, we can acquire state-of-the-art equipment tailored specifically to children’s needs, create comfortable care environments, provide care for more children close to their homes and families, and support innovative research projects, thereby pushing the boundaries. Together, let’s continue to offer them warmth and comfort, to make a real difference in their care and healing journey, today and tomorrow.” – Jonathan Gendron, CEO of Opération Enfant Soleil.
During this great giving event, the strength and courage of the province’s 17 Enfants Soleil and of all children affected by illness will be showcased. It is with much joy that families will once again take the stage to share their stories and to experience some exciting and moving moments.
“The Opération Enfant Soleil Telethon brings together thousands of people to support families with sick children, just like ours. We stand together, we help each other. Thank you for supporting Opération Enfant Soleil and helping sick children. You are making a difference!” – Manon St-Pierre and Tommy Ouellette, parents of Payton, age 2, Enfant Soleil.

Opération Enfant Soleil: Together, for the health of Quebec’s children
As a force to rally Quebecers around the cause of sick children, Opération Enfant Soleil supports healing throughout the province. Over the past 36 years, more than $302 million has been raised thanks to the generosity of partners, volunteers and donors. With this contribution, over a hundred projects are undertaken every year in regional hospitals and major paediatric centres, including acquiring state-of-the-art equipment tailored to children’s needs, creating comfortable and optimal care environments, providing local care close to home and family, and supporting innovative research projects, thereby pushing the boundaries. Each year, funds are also allocated to organizations for prevention projects through the Fonds sport et santé durable.
